In SHYNE We have held our Annual Assembly, a meeting that brought together representatives of the promoting and affiliated companies, consolidating the common commitment to accelerate the energy transition through renewable hydrogen.
The event was led by Tomás Malango, president of the Association and Director of Renewable Fuels and Circular Economy at Repsol, accompanied by Javier Arboleda, General Manager of SHYNE.
The event took place at the Bosch Spain facilities, where its president, Javier González Pareja, provided an official welcome.
A space to review progress and set priorities
During the Assembly, the main progress achieved over the last year was presented, with special attention to the work of SHYNE's three reference groups:
- Regulationn: contributions to the regulatory framework that facilitates the development of renewable hydrogen projects in Spain.
- Projects: promoting specific initiatives throughout the entire value chain, from production to consumption.
- Financing: Search for mechanisms and models of collaboration that ensure the necessary investment for the sector to grow sustainably.
In parallel, collaborative initiatives with public administrations and progress in institutional communication strategies and media presence have been shared, key elements in strengthening the visibility of renewable hydrogen as a strategic driver of decarbonization.
Towards a true Country Project
One of the most prominent messages from SHYNE, which was once again highlighted in the Assembly, is that Spain meets the necessary conditions to convert renewable hydrogen into a true Country ProjectIt's not just about promoting a new energy source, but about seizing a strategic opportunity that combines energy autonomy, decarbonization, and reindustrialization.
In this way, the Association has reaffirmed its commitment to continue working with a shared vision, which will accelerate decarbonization, strengthen industrial competitiveness, and consolidate Spain's role as a European benchmark in renewable hydrogen.
United to continue moving forward
The Assembly concluded with a positive outcome and a conclusion shared by all attendees: SHYNE comes out more aligned and reinforced.
In this regard, the Association's members have focused on the next steps that will shape the sector's immediate future, convinced that unity is the key to gaining momentum.
The common commitment leaves no room for doubt: materialize tangible projects, capable of demonstrating the potential of renewable hydrogen, accelerating the energy transition, and contributing to a more sustainable future for society as a whole.
